Obituary for Victoria Irons

Victoria Irons, 75 of Lapeer passed away April 14, 2020 She was born in Port Huron March 23, 1945.

Victoria was raised on a farm in Milligton by Nina and Len Elvard. Victoria loved growing up on a farm and often shared her memories of her younger beloved years. Her family included loving sister Velma and (Bill) Racknor. Their children Gene (Marion) Racknor, their children Lorraine (David) Mucha and Roger (Tracy) Racknor. Gary (Peggy) Racknor, their children Michele (Bill) Schuyler, Jerry (Royce) Racknor. Gary's second wife Cookie, Gary Jr. (Michelle) Racknor, Bruce (Kim) Lamphere. Several great-nieces and nephews and great-great-niece and nephews.

Vicky spent the majority of her adult life in the Lapeer County area. She was a part of the Bratten Adult Foster Care family for 20 years. Recently moving to The Villages of Lapeer. Victoria enjoyed vacationing throughout the years in Michigan. She went with family every summer to Caseville/Port Austin area where she made precious memories in her younger years. Her favorite vacation spot was Mackinac Island. She also enjoyed bowling, swimming, walking, movies, gardening, shopping and eating out. Victoria attended Hillside Descipleship church where she had many special people touch her life. She loved attending services and helping out wherever she was able. Victoria has worked at McDonalds and most recently G&O. She will live on in the memory of the many people that have loved and cared for her through the years.

Cremation has taken place.

Burial will take place at Smith Hill Cemetery in Otisville at a later date.
