Obituary for Nicholas James Anthony

Nicholas James Anthony, age 78 of Walled Lake, MI passed away on December 17, 2020. Nick was born in Detroit, MI on January 14, 1942. He was married to Patricia Anthony for 52 years and 9 months. He lived and worked in Walled Lake for 45 years. His custom cabinetry and furniture is throughout the cities of Birmingham, Southfield, Detroit and in many private homes. Nick was proud to be a veteran of the United States Navy and loved his country. Over the years he touched many lives and had many wonderful friends for 50 years and more. He loved golf and U of M sports, but most important in Nick's life was his wife, his daughters, his family and his friends, who became his family. We will all miss him forever!

Nick is survived by his wife Patricia; daughters Nicole (Kenneth) Quisenberry and Kristen Anthony; grandchildren Sean Quisenberry and Shannon Quisenberry; great-grandchildren Kailey and Alyssa Krug; sister Margaret (Donald) Harris; brothers and sisters-in law Debbie & Sherman Hampton, Donald & Jan Lawson, Madeline Kay, Don Kohler, Richard Krause; also many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Nick was preceded in death by his parents Frederick and Margaret Anthony; parents-in-law Mary & Henry Krause, father-in-law Reed Lawson; brother and sister-in-law Sue & Grant Marinack, sister-in-law Kristine Kohler.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer, MI. A memorial service will be held at a later date, likely in the Spring of 2021.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either Mission 22 at or Walled Lake Methodist Church, 313 E. Northport St, Walled Lake, MI 48390.
