Obituary for Mark Allen Boger
Mark Allen Boger, age 61 of Lapeer, passed away June 30, 2019. He was born in Flint, MI on March 26, 1958, to the late Mervil and Jean Boger. Mark retired from General Motors after many years working on the assembly line. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. He enjoyed canoe trips on the Rifle River with his family and trips to the Traverse City casinos. Mark enjoyed the time spent with his sons and grandchildren and was looking forward to spending more time with them.
Mark is survived by his two sons, Matthew (Mandi) Boger and Michael (Amy) Boger; four grandchildren, Tyson, Kayla, Cameron, and Jordan Boger; brothers, Chris (Vicky) Boger, Tony Alt; sisters, Judy (Dave) Moore, Kelly (Kevin) Hanna; special friends, Kris Chevalier and Ray Haring; sister-in-law, Connie Boger; step-mother, Ann Peterson; step-brothers, Narla (Jen) Nance, Daniel Nance; step-sisters, Mellissa Peterson, Ann Dyns.
He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Daniel Boger; sister, Cathy Newton; granddaughter, Madison Boger.
Friends may visit with the Boger family on Monday, July 8th from 3-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel on Tuesday, July 9th at 11 AM. Mark will be laid to rest at Meadowview Memorial Gardens in Davison. Memorials to the American Lung Association are appreciated.
