Obituary for George Correa Jr.
George Correa Jr., age 74 of Fostoria, passed away on June 11, 2021. George loyally served his country aboard the USS Bon Homme Richard aircraft carrier during the Vietnam War and always supported his brothers in the military. He loved Doo-wop music, classic cars, classic films, and spending time with his friends and family. George will forever be our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will be greatly missed and remembered by all the lives he touched.
George is survived by his spouse Carol J. Correa (Pompee); his children George Correa III, Michael (Tammy) Correa, Jessica (Jacob) Feindt, Rebecka (Maurice Hill) Williams, Amber (Orris Roerink) Mulholland, and Larry Lowry; grandchildren Justin Correa, Jeremy Correa, Kaitlyn Correa-Streetman, Ah' Jene Smith, Day' Vion Hill, Julius Hill, Paxton Feindt, Grayson Feindt, Makayla, Lauren, Orris Roerink Jr.; sister Ernestine Correa (Cees van den Odenhoven).
George was preceded in death by his parents George Correa Sr. & Marie Correa; brothers Richard Correa, Robert Correa & James Camponi.
Memorial made to Wounded Warrior Project are greatly appreciated.
Friends may visit on Monday, June 21st from 4-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer on Tuesday, June 22nd at 11 AM. George will receive military honors and will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
