Obituary for Gary L. Graf

Gary L. Graf, age 80 of Columbiaville, passed away on March 18, 2021. He was born in Chicago, IL on November 26, 1940, to Jack and Lilla Graf. Gary worked for Troy City Schools as a custodian for 20 years. He was a member of the Elba Lions Club, where he enjoyed calling Bingo. He loyally served his country in the United States Army for 27 years and was a drill instructor for 20 years. Gary loved spending time outside and tending to his gardens and enjoyed the numerous cats and dogs that they had around the property. Most of all Gary loved his family and cherished his time spent with his grandchildren.

Gary is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nada Graf; son Gary Graf Jr. of Columbiaville; daughter Renee (Frank) Kaminskas of Washington, MI; son Cameron Graf of Columbiaville; grandchildren Britain Kaminskas, Destiny Kaminskas, Gavin Kaminskas, Hunter-Ray Graf and Alexis Graf; great-grandchildren Nevaeh Vickery and Trinity Rose Kaminskas; brothers Steven Graf of New Mexico and Miles (Ann) Graf of Seattle, WA; special friend Wanda Landrum.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Lilla Graf; sister Patricia Heflin; granddaughter Hannah Marie Graf.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer. Friends may visit with the Graf family on Monday, March 22nd from 5-8 PM. No formal service will be held.
