She was raised on a farm in Hillman, MI and was the youngest of 5 children. Daryl loved life. She enjoyed driving adventures in her car, gardening, hunting, photography and holiday decorating. She also had a passion for singing and entertaining but most of all it was her four children that she devoted her life to. Daryl was a woman of strong faith and perseverance. She was very involved in the Lapeer Community Church and Genesys Cancer Support Group. Daryl also owned and operated a Driver’s Education business in Lapeer County that she began in 1983. $0 $0Daryl is survived by her husband, John Wenzel whom she married on April 4, 2009. Sons, Paul Canjar age 28, Kyle Canjar age 26, Michael Canjar age 20; daughter, Kara Canjar age 19; sisters, Deanna (the late, Duane) Stevens of Hillman, MI, Jerilyn (Larry) Szydloski of Armada, MI, Karen (Stephen) Hartwig of Sandusky, MI; brother, Duane (Nancy) Snow of Rogers City, MI; very close friend, Rosalie Kovacs; former husband, Gregory Canjar; also several nieces and nephews.$0 $0Preceded in death by her beloved parents, Frederick and Leona Snow.$0 Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 11:00 AM from Lapeer Community Church (80 N. Lake Pleasant Rd, Attica, MI, 48412) Pastor Rodney Smith will be officiating. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 6-9 PM and Tuesday from 3-9 PM. Arrangements entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Home Capstick Chapel, 542 Liberty Park, Lapeer, MI 48446.
