Darlene was a loving person, who enjoyed going to church and being involved in her community. Darlene was a very talented person who also enjoyed making scrapbooks and singing karaoke. She was guided to heaven by her son Curtis, while holding her hand. He encouraged her to be with loved ones who were waiting for her and ensured her that we will one day meet again.

If flowers grow in heaven, Lord then pick a bunch for me. Then place them in my Mother’s arms, and tell her they’re from me. Tell her that I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while. We love you Mom, over the moon and beyond the stars always and forever.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer.
